Services offered
Lisle Medical provides the full range of services you would expect from a GP and more and at a highly competitive cost for members and non-members. We place strong emphasis on face-to-face appointments, whether in clinic or on a home visit, which we believe provides the best possible care.
Clinic appointments
For the fastest access to high quality GP care choose to see the doctor in clinic; same or next day appointments are easily booked online or by telephone, and are held at our convenient and comfortable central Haslemere clinic.
Home visits
Lisle Medical offers a visiting service for members and non-members - the doctor or nurse comes to you. This personal and efficient service is designed around you - no travel, no waiting rooms. Standard appointments are 30 minutes; if you need more or less time we can be flexible. We want you to receive the quality of service we want for our own families. Please check which areas we cover.
Phone and video appointments
Although we encourage the bulk of our consulting to be face to face we are more than happy to exercise flexibility - whether by phone, message, secure video call or email we are happy to respond and keep in contact with you wherever you are.
Unwell child appointments
As parents ourselves we recognise that you sometimes have a simple question that needs a quick answer, often fitting in around school runs. We offer shorter appointments for children, priced accordingly, and will always try to fit you in if possible.
Referrals
When you need specialist care we are your starting point to find a consultant. We understand that the relationship needs to be right if you are to feel comfortable you are getting the best possible care; our knowledge of specialists both regionally and nationally means we find the best person for you and put you in touch with their team.
Tests
Lisle Medical uses two fully accredited UK laboratories (The Doctors Laboratory and Randox), to offer a vast range of tests at competitive prices. We stabilise blood samples ourselves to ensure optimal accuracy. We only do the tests needed to deliver the best care, and will discuss first what you may need.
Vaccinations & travel
Whether you want your child’s routine jabs in the comfort of your home, a chickenpox vaccination or BCG to enhance their immunity, a winter flu jab, or you need travel vaccinations, Lisle Medical can help. Dr Foster’s extensive experience with overseas medical care brings a considered and practical service.
Prescriptions
We work with most local pharmacies and several efficient national services to provide acute and repeat prescriptions privately in whichever way is most convenient for you, but we can still provide a printed prescription with an illegible signature if you prefer.
Out of hours care
Illness doesn’t restrict itself to working hours so we will endeavour to assist whenever possible. Members benefit from out of hours advice and appointments if necessary. We can also offer early morning and evening appointments sometimes.
Health screens
A screening health check will routinely involve a discussion about your lifestyle and current medical problems, followed by a full examination and range of tests to help us develop a plan to optimise your health for years to come. The level of detail can be tailored to your requirements and circumstances. We recommend an initial screen in your mid- to late-30s, then further screening at intervals beyond that.
Corporate
Please contact us if you are interested in securing a package deal for your employees or customers. Dr Piers Foster is experienced in occupational medicine and will work with your employees to develop a plan to get them back to work as soon as possible. With patient consent we can liaise with you or your HR department and develop a workable plan for everyone. We will never share medical details of patients without their consent.

We embrace new medical technology, with tests and devices now available: KardiaMobile pocket ECG tracer for palpitations; ZioXT wearable ECG monitoring for up to two weeks of heart tracing; Aktiia home blood pressure monitor for accurate average blood pressure readings; Quikread Go for instant blood infection markers and Strep throat detection; Trucheck Intelli cancer screening blood tests. We monitor the market for new devices that will enhance your health, but only use what is clinically proven and convenient.
