What We Offer
Lisle Medical offers a comprehensive range of private GP services from our clinics in Haslemere and Chichester, as well as private GP home visits across Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire. Our services include same-day and routine GP appointments, children’s appointments, telephone and video consultations, blood tests, health checks, vaccinations, referrals and ongoing care for long-term conditions.
If the service you need is not listed below, please contact us. We may still be able to help or direct you to the most appropriate specialist or healthcare provider.
-
For fast access to high-quality private GP care, book a clinic appointment with one of our experienced doctors. Same-day and next-day private GP appointments are often available and can be booked online or by telephone at our comfortable central Haslemere clinic or our rural clinic near Chichester, both with easy access and parking.
-
Lisle Medical provides private GP home visits across selected areas of Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire. The service is primarily available to Lisle Medical members, with a limited number of non-member home visits offered subject to location and availability.
Our doctor or nurse comes to you, providing convenient, personal medical care without the need to travel or spend time in a waiting room. Standard home visit appointments last 30 minutes, with longer appointments available where required. Please check our home visit coverage area before making an enquiry.
-
Although we recommend face-to-face appointments for most medical concerns, Lisle Medical also offers private GP telephone and video consultations where appropriate. Depending on your needs, our doctors can provide advice and follow-up by telephone, secure video call, message or email, helping you stay in contact with your GP wherever you are.
Remote GP appointments are particularly useful for follow-up consultations, discussing test results, medication reviews and concerns that do not require a physical examination.
-
When you need specialist assessment or treatment, Lisle Medical can arrange a private GP referral to an appropriate consultant. Referral letters are included as part of your GP care, with no additional referral fee.
We take time to understand your medical needs, preferences and location before recommending a specialist with the right expertise and approach for you. Our knowledge of consultants and specialist services across the local region and throughout the UK helps us identify suitable options, contact the relevant team and remain involved in your care where needed.
-
Lisle Medical provides private prescriptions for both acute and ongoing medication needs. We work with many local pharmacies, as well as trusted national prescription services, to arrange convenient collection or delivery wherever possible.
Private repeat prescriptions can be issued where clinically appropriate, following review by one of our doctors. If you prefer, we can also provide a traditional printed prescription—complete with the customary doctor’s signature.
For controlled-drug prescriptions, we will usually need to assess you in person and verify your identity using valid photographic identification before prescribing.
-
Lisle Medical offers a wide range of private blood tests and other diagnostic tests through two fully accredited UK laboratories: The Doctors Laboratory and Nationwide Pathology. Tests are available at competitive prices and are selected according to your symptoms, medical history and clinical needs.
Where required, we process and stabilise blood samples in-house before collection to help preserve sample quality and support accurate results. Before arranging any tests, one of our doctors will discuss which investigations are appropriate, avoiding unnecessary testing while ensuring you receive the information needed for safe, effective care.
-
When your child is unwell, Lisle Medical offers prompt private GP appointments for babies, children and teenagers. As parents ourselves, we understand that sometimes you need a quick, reassuring answer and an appointment that fits around nursery, school and family life.
Shorter children’s appointments are available at a reduced price for straightforward concerns, and we will always try to offer a same-day or next-day appointment where possible. If your child needs more time or a more detailed assessment, we can arrange a standard appointment.
-
Lisle Medical provides a wide range of private vaccinations for children and adults, including routine childhood immunisations, chickenpox vaccination, meningitis B vaccination, seasonal flu vaccination and travel vaccines.
Vaccinations can be arranged at our clinics, and selected childhood vaccinations may also be available in the comfort of your home. Our doctors and nurses provide practical, individual advice based on age, medical history, destination, planned activities and previous vaccination records.
For travel vaccinations and travel health advice, please visit our dedicated Travel Clinic page.
-
Lisle Medical offers early-morning private GP appointments at our Haslemere clinic every Wednesday, providing greater flexibility for patients who need to attend before work, school or other daytime commitments.
Out-of-hours GP advice and appointments are available exclusively to Lisle Medical members, subject to clinical need and doctor availability. This service is designed to provide additional reassurance and continuity of care when urgent medical concerns arise outside our normal opening hours.
-
Lisle Medical offers comprehensive private health checks tailored to your age, medical history, lifestyle, family history and individual concerns. Your appointment will include a detailed discussion with a doctor, followed by targeted examinations and diagnostic tests where clinically appropriate.
We will explain your results clearly and develop a practical, personalised plan to reduce future health risks and support your long-term wellbeing. The depth of the assessment can be adjusted to suit your circumstances, from a focused health review to a more detailed medical screening.
Many people choose to have a baseline health check in their 30s, with further assessments at appropriate intervals according to their results and risk factors.
-
Joint and soft-tissue injections may help relieve pain and inflammation caused by selected musculoskeletal conditions. Following a clinical assessment, our doctors can advise whether a corticosteroid injection is appropriate and discuss the likely benefits, limitations and possible risks. Treatment may be suitable for certain painful joints, bursae and tendon-related conditions.
-
Lisle Medical provides a broad range of private medical examinations and certificates for work, sport, travel and licensing purposes. These include DVLA and Group 2 driver medicals, taxi and private-hire medicals, diving, motorsport, snowsports and endurance-event medicals, visa and insurance examinations, firearms and shotgun medical reports, and powerboat medicals.
Requirements vary between organisations, so please send us the relevant form when booking. A copy of your NHS medical record may be needed for some assessments - we will help you to source this.
Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) pilot medicals are ‘on our radar’ as being in demand and we have a plan to introduce them as soon as possible.
-
Our doctors can provide private medical certificates, including Med3 fit notes or statements of fitness for work, maternity certificates and other supporting documentation where clinically appropriate. A consultation and access to relevant medical information may be required before a certificate can be issued.

-
Resting ECGs, wearable ECG monitoring and home blood-pressure monitoring.
-
HRT consultations with GPs with enhanced qualifications, maternity certificates and Harmony prenatal screening.

Lisle Medical can arrange private allergy blood tests where clinically appropriate. Testing may help investigate suspected reactions to foods, environmental allergens or other triggers, but results must always be interpreted alongside your symptoms and medical history. We will discuss which tests are likely to be useful and avoid broad, unnecessary screening.
-
Mole checks, skin-lesion assessment, wart treatment and cryotherapy.
-
Our doctors provide confidential assessment and ongoing support for common mental health concerns, including anxiety, low mood, stress, sleep problems and work-related difficulties. We take time to understand both your symptoms and wider circumstances, discuss treatment options and arrange counselling, medication or specialist referral where appropriate.
-
We welcome serving members of the Armed Forces, veterans and military families. Dr Piers Foster spent 16 years as an army doctor and therefore has a full understanding of your particular needs. All our doctors can help with general medical care, service-related health concerns, medical records, onward referrals and advice relating to Army applications or medical standards. Please ask about our military and veterans’ discount.
-
Lisle Medical is registered with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office for the legalisation of eligible medical documents. We can assist with medical reports and certificates that require verification as part of the apostille process for use overseas. Requirements vary by country and organisation, so please contact us before booking.
-
We offer private lung-function testing, including spirometry and fractional exhaled nitric oxide testing, known as FeNO. These tests can help assess symptoms such as breathlessness, wheeze or persistent cough and may support the diagnosis and monitoring of asthma and other respiratory conditions. Results are interpreted by a clinician alongside your symptoms and medical history.
-
We continually review and expand our services in response to the needs of our patients. If the service you require is not listed, please contact us. We may still be able to help, adapt the way we provide your care or direct you to an appropriate specialist or healthcare provider.
